Julian Van Winkle III is a long-time supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana, as is evidenced by the personal touch added to the items in this year’s raffle.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana, established in 1984, is a non-profit organization providing accommodation and support for families of sick children being treated at hospitals in and around Louisville, Kentucky. Services are offered free of charge to families, with RMHCK asserting that “ nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, get their next meal, do their laundry, or lay their head at night to rest.”

Pappy Van Winkle and RMHCK’s charitable initiative has raised $1.4 million since the raffles began in 2019. This equates to 12,505 nights in the House for families who have traveled to receive treatment for their children.

Tickets for the raffle cost $100 each, with a prize worth over $15,000 on offer. 100% of the funds raised will support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana in its mission to provide support and comfort for ill children and their families.

Hal Hedley, CEO of RMHCK, said “We’ve chosen to sell 1,984 tickets to commemorate the year 1984, when Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana first opened its doors to families. These five coveted bottles offered as a group directly support sick children and their families. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Ticket sales will cease on 9th May at 10 am EDT, with the winning ticket being drawn the same day. To be in with a chance of winning this enviable Pappy Van Winkle flight, and to help RMHCK continue its incredible work, purchase your raffle tickets here.
