Earlier this year, Elijah Craig announced the release of their Toasted Barrel Finished in European Oak Barrels expression. Their Bernheim Distillery, located in the historic downtown of Louisville, Kentucky, has the distinction of being the largest independent, family-owned distillery in the world.

Bottled at 94 proof, Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Ryder Cup Edition is made from fully-aged Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon that is finished in new European oak barrels that have been toasted with a profile inspired by the barrels used in the Lazio wine growing region.. Lazio, located in central Italy near the ancient capital of Rome, is also the host city of the European Team.
