New Visitor Experience For Pursuit Spirits On Louisville’s Whiskey Row

Kentucky’s Pursuit Spirits aims for a new visitor experience, as construction is beginning on their new facility along Louisville’s Whiskey Row.

A statement from Pursuit explains that when the new visitor experience is finished, guests will be able to pick their favorite barrels and fill their own bottles in the Pursuit United Private Selection experience.

And the new experience will feature educational sessions on maturation techniques and breaking down blends. Their new shop will host a variety of events, including limited and rare bottle releases and intimate tastings.

“We can’t wait to pull back the curtain and give bourbon lovers a truly insider’s experience they won’t find anywhere else,” said Ryan Cecil, Pursuit’s master blender and CEO. “We will take guests to the next level of their bourbon journey.”

He described the new experience’s basement bar as “speakeasy style,” and noted that it will feature brick walls and a contemporary design, offering bespoke cocktails and a menu of flights and pours from their Pursuit United portfolio.

There will also be a soundproof studio for their Bourbon Pursuit podcast.

“For years we’ve given recommendations to Bourbon Pursuit listeners about the best places in Louisville and now we have a destination of our own,” said Kenny Coleman, COO and co-founder of Pursuit. “This home on Whiskey Row will introduce more people to the Pursuit Spirits brand and our whiskeys will make new lifelong fans.”

The architecture for the project is led by Joseph & Joseph Architects, a firm specializing in distillery design and hospitality, and credited with designing the original Four Roses distillery in 1909.
