The Los Angeles-based company announced the release on May 1, describing it as the “long-awaited sequel” to their Double Gold Medal-winning original Moonlight Mayhem! bourbon.

“Moonlight Mayhem! was our first release, and it met with such a tremendous response from critics and consumers alike, that we knew the story wasn’t finished,” said Troy Bolotnick, Founder and CEO of Filmland Spirits. “We began to think about how a unique finish could add to the flavor of what was already an exceptional bourbon.”
The brand’s concept pairs original retro B-Movie concepts with distinctive whiskeys. Each release features custom bottles inspired by moviemaking and labels designed like immersive movie posters.

Moonlight Mayhem! 2: The White Port Wolf
The White Port Wolf expression offers a complex flavor profile. According to Filmland Spirits, the bourbon presents sweet and fresh notes with citrus and licorice on the nose, followed by vanilla and cardamom on the palate.
The finish is described as earthy with grassy undertones and a wash of roasted hazelnut. The white port cask finishing adds a distinctive character to the underlying bourbon.
