Some time the tie-ins make sense, and other times they can be head scratching. Upper end fashion and high quality Scotch, working under this system, collide in pairings brought together by the Glenmorangie distillery and luxury shirt brand Thomas Pink.

Said to share a proud history “using only the finest ingredients and a relentless dedication to excellence,” the two companies are offering up for sale three pairings which are themed to a different type of man. The “tasting notes,” if you can call them that, are presented below as per the distillery and luxury shirt maker:

• The Classic Gentleman’ pairing features Glenmorangie Original, an elegant and floral spirit and the real backbone of the Glenmorangie range. These curated pairings, which will be available through the end of April, price for $234, $269 and $579, respectively, but are not available for shipment to all states owing to various laws.
