Jameson Cold Brew Emerges As Coffee Flavor Infused Irish Whiskey

The Jameson Irish Whiskey brand is known for having a range of expressions designed to fully showcase the possibilities of how this whiskey can be used. One it hasn’t really explored yet is the natural relationship whiskey and coffee seem to have, and with that in mind the brand has just unveiled a new bottling infused with natural cold brew coffee flavor.

The new Jameson Cold Brew, according to those behind it, infuses your typical Jameson whiskey with natural cold brew coffee flavor. It is said this is something Jameson’s fan base had been requesting for years, and this limited edition offering, now that it is available, can be enjoyed chilled, on the rocks, mixed with a cola or in a cocktail.

“By combining the smooth taste of triple distilled Jameson and the richness of natural cold brew coffee flavor into one bottle, Jameson Cold Brew celebrates a passion for whiskey and coffee,” said Matt Foley, Jameson Brand Director at Pernod Ricard USA, in a prepared statement. “When we started researching our next innovation, we didn’t need to go far, as it had been under our nose all along.”

Plans call for Cold Brew, bottled at 60 proof, to price around $25 per 750 ml bottle. You’ll find some official tasting notes below from Jameson.

  • Nose: Intense rich coffee bean aromatics combined with vanilla nuttiness of Jameson.
  • Taste: Distinctive, bold and natural with refreshing coffee flavor followed by charred wood from the pot still whiskey contribution on the palate. Full bodied, smooth and warming mouthfeel, with notes of toasted oak and dark chocolate.
