Whiskey maker Noble Oak, in a partnership with One Tree Planted, recently celebrated a milestone … a million trees planted.
A statement from the two tree planters noted that their combined efforts are aimed at restoring forests, enhancing biodiversity, taking on climate change, and supporting communities nationwide.
Noble Oak has set a new goal of planting two million trees by the end of 2024.
“As a brand built on giving back, we are committed to celebrating the earth and remaining true to our promise of planting a tree for every bottle sold,” said Jack Bauer, Noble Oak’s brand manager. “That means with every new milestone we set, we will continue to lead with nobility and remain focused on creating a positive impact for nature, people, and surrounding communities.”
Since it was founded in 2017, Noble Oak has partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every bottle sold. Together, they’ve planted 58 different tree species in 28 states, representing at least 10 unique forest ecosystems.
The prepared statement explained that this diverse selection of trees helps ensure the long-term sustainability and resilience of forests, while also benefiting local wildlife and communities.
Their projects have included: Tahoe fire restoration, specializing in restoring sugar pines and other white pines; the Orca Whale Project in Oregon, planting trees along rivers to restore habitats; to the Chippewa National Forest, restoration focused on wildlife conservation at the highest breeding density of American Bald Eagles; and Cincinnati and Detroit urban forestry initiatives mitigating challenges such as critical shade management, buffering air pollution from industry and roadways, managing and cleansing of stormwater before it enters the cities’ combined sewer system, and neighborhood beautification.

Wood is an integral part of Noble Oak’s whiskeys, as they are all double oak matured. Their whiskey is first aged in charred new American white oak barrels, followed by a unique WoodCraft finishing.
