Four Branches Bourbon Launches Founders Blend Nationwide

Four Branches Bourbon is the spirits brand notably founded by veterans that represent all four branches of the U.S. military. And the brand just introduced its Founders Blend, which can now be shipped directly to 35 states.

Four Branches Bourbon was born out of the bonds forged in service, and the founders’ desire to honor the men and women who’ve played pivotal roles in their lives. The founders of Four Branches include Rick Franco (Marines), Mike Trott (Air Force), Harold Underdown (Navy), and RJ Casey (Army). These men bonded through their military service, which totals more than a hundred years combined.

“We are not celebrities, we are simply proud veterans, and we founded Four Branches Bourbon because we understand the importance of camaraderie and the significance of honoring those who serve in many ways, including those in the shadows,” Trott said. “We also want to promote our fine bourbon differently, as we ‘sip to remember’ and highlight our trademarked message, ‘Serve Honorably. Drink Honorably.’”

Charitable contributions are part of Four Branches’ DNA, as the group has donated bottles to support veterans, special operators, and their families, already raising more than $30,000.

A statement from Four Branches noted that these funds were specifically raised in alignment with the brand’s mission and values, showcasing their dedication to creating a positive impact that extends beyond mere sales.

Hall of Fame Master Distiller Steve Nally has helped guide and collaborate with Four Branches to create a unique blend of bourbon for its initial release.

The founders sourced three different mash bills, ranging from 4 to 7 years in age, and formed a four-grain mash bill that’s unique to them. The distiller’s notes describe this blend as particularly smooth and balanced thanks to the wheat, with only a subtle burn on the finish, which the founders call a “Kentucky kiss.”

Rolling out over the next few months, Four Branches Bourbon will be available for purchase in both on-premise and off-premise locations across Tennessee, Kentucky, Washington D.C., Maryland, Florida, and Arizona. More states will follow.
