Highland distillery Tomatin encourages Scotch whisky lovers to enjoy a curated collection of single malt whiskies designed to pair with each course of a traditional Burns Night supper. The distillery’s range includes four expressions matched to complement dishes from Cullen skink through to dessert, with bottles priced from £37 to £62.50.
The pairings begin with Tomatin 10 Year Old, a bourbon cask-matured expression recommended alongside Cullen skink, a soup made with haddock, potatoes, and onions.
Priced at £42 and bottled at 40% ABV, the whisky features what the brand describes as “bright notes of lemon sherbet, green apple and gentle sweetness” to complement the traditional Scottish soup.
For the haggis course, Tomatin suggests its Double Cask expression, matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
Available exclusively at Tesco and Amazon for £37, the 40% ABV whisky offers “soft vanilla, baked apple and warming spice” according to official tasting notes.
“Burns Night is a moment to gather, to share food, drink, stories and tradition around the table,” the distillery stated.

The Tomatin 12 Year Old Sherry Cask, fully matured in sherry oak, is positioned for the dessert course.
Retailing at £52.50, the expression brings “notes of dried fruit, chocolate fudge, honey and gentle spice” per the brand’s official notes.
The final dram in the collection is Tomatin Cask Strength Bourbon and Sherry, bottled at 57% ABV.
Priced at £62.50, this expression is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
Official tasting notes describe “bold flavours of golden syrup, malt loaf, marzipan and warming spice.”
The distillery emphasized its “To What Matters” ethos in the release, celebrating “the people, place and purpose that define both its whisky and the spirit of the occasion.”
Tomatin 10 Year Old is available exclusively at Waitrose and Amazon, while the 12 Year Old Sherry Cask and Cask Strength expressions can be purchased at tomatin.com.
