The Whisky Exchange has released Knob Creek 2015 10-Year-Old, marking the first single barrel pick from the Kentucky bourbon brand to be made available exclusively in the UK market. The whiskey is bottled at 62.6% ABV and is available online and in The Whisky Exchange stores at an RRP of £94.95.
Buying director Dawn Davies hand-selected the barrel during a visit to Kentucky in 2025. The cask was drawn from rack 18 on the fourth floor of warehouse Z at the distillery.

The release has been timed to give customers a chance to purchase the whiskey in time for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21.
Official tasting notes from the brand describe rich brown sugar and Dutch caramel waffles on the nose, balanced by polished oak and a hint of blackcurrant. On the palate, the whiskey is soft and rounded with building nutmeg and cinnamon spice. Singed caramel and buttery toffee continue, with garibaldi biscuits giving a pleasantly sweet finish.
The launch comes amid strong demand for limited-release American whiskeys among The Whisky Exchange’s customer base. American whiskey sales at the retailer are currently up 16% year on year, led by bottlings such as Star Hill Farm from Maker’s Mark and Eagle Rare 12-Year-Old.
Knob Creek was originally launched in 1992 by Booker Noe, the legendary master distiller for Jim Beam. Noe created the brand as a throwback to a pre-Prohibition style of bourbon making, emphasizing higher proof and longer aging.
The Whisky Exchange has built a reputation over more than 20 years as a destination for exclusive spirits releases unavailable elsewhere. Recent examples have included the first-ever retailer exclusive from Korea’s Ki One distillery, the oldest Jameson release at 23 years old, and the first UK-market single cask from Havana Club.
Knob Creek sits within the Suntory Global Spirits portfolio, which encompasses a broad range of bourbon brands including Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, and Basil Hayden’s. The brand’s core range has long been recognized for its bold, full-flavored approach to Kentucky straight bourbon, typically aged for a minimum of nine years.
This latest barrel pick underscores the growing appetite among UK consumers for premium, cask-strength American whiskeys with provenance and exclusivity at their core.
