The Ned has announced its first branded Christmas tree collaboration with The Macallan single malt Scotch whisky for the 2025 festive season. The partnership marks the first Christmas tree collaboration for The Ned since the London venue opened in 2017.

The Macallan-designed tree will stand in The Ned’s historic grand banking hall from November 24 through December 29.

Drawing inspiration from The Macallan’s Speyside heritage, the tree features the whisky brand’s signature red color woven through oak and copper elements.

Copper baubles inspired by The Macallan’s copper stills adorn the tree alongside white ornaments featuring The Macallan “M” logo and dark-red velvet bows.

Clusters of berries, acorns and foliage represent the flora and fauna of Scotland.

“We’re thrilled to welcome The Macallan to The Ned this Christmas,” said Gareth Banner, group managing director at The Ned. “This collaboration celebrates our shared commitment to craftsmanship, storytelling, and timeless elegance.”

The Library Bar at The Ned will offer an exclusive The Macallan whisky cocktail and expressions menu throughout the festive period.

Lutyens Grill will feature a curated list of The Macallan cocktails.

“We’re excited to partner with The Ned to create a truly memorable festive season,” said Sergio Cabello, head of The Macallan UK. “This partnership is about bringing people together and creating joyful moments and festive experiences worth celebrating.”

The Ned operates as a members’ club and hotel in the former Midland Bank headquarters in the City of London. The venue features nine restaurants, multiple bars, and event spaces across its 320,000 square foot building.

The Macallan distillery, located in Speyside, is renowned for its sherry-seasoned oak casks and distinctive single malt whiskies. The brand is owned by Edrington Group and distributed globally.
