The Macallan has unveiled the sixth and final release in its Harmony Collection, comprising two single malt Scotch whiskies inspired by coconut flavors. Both expressions launch globally on 4 August 2026 at £140 each.
The release marks the conclusion of a series exploring the brand’s connection to the natural world and packaging “that seeks to bring new life to by-products which have ended their usual course”. Installments have previously included Rich Cacao, Intense Arabica, Guardian Oak, and Cherrywood Lapsang Tea, amongst others.

Crafted by The Macallan’s Whisky Mastery team, the final addition to the collection features two expressions: Inspired by Fresh Coconut and Inspired by Toasted Coconut. The team used cask selection and maturation to draw out a coconut character rarely present in The Macallan.
Inspired by Fresh Coconut is bottled at 46.3% ABV and available domestically. According to the brand’s official notes, it reveals fresh coconut, citrus and tropical fruits, with a palate of coconut milk, zesty lime and soft sweetness leading to a bright, floral finish.

Inspired by Toasted Coconut is available via Global Travel Retail partners. The brand’s official notes describe toasted coconut, crème caramel and white chocolate on the nose, with a palate of coconut truffle, charred pineapple and frangipane.
Both whiskies are matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak casks and casks that previously held bourbon.

“With this concluding release in The Harmony Collection, we have carefully guided coconut notes to the forefront of the whisky through precise cask selection and maturation,” said Kirsteen Campbell, master whisky maker at The Macallan. “The result is two beautifully balanced expressions that showcase both the natural influence of oak and the skill of our Whisky Mastery team, where each element has been carefully shaped to achieve a harmonious and distinctive character.”
The collection is extended through the TimeSpirit Dining Experience, a collaboration with El Celler de Can Roca. Pastry chef Jordi Roca has created a series of sweet pairings inspired by the whisky.
“Collaborating on this release has been a joyful creative journey,” Roca said. “By exploring coconut in its many forms, we have crafted a series of pairings that play with texture, contrast and balance.”
TimeSpirit is El Celler de Can Roca’s first dining concept outside Spain, building on a partnership of more than a decade with The Macallan. Six bespoke cocktail serves have also been created to highlight the coconut character.
The whiskies are presented in packaging incorporating discarded coconut fibres, transformed through an emission-free process into a black-hued material.
“The Harmony Collection represents the culmination of a journey defined by curiosity and creativity,” said Jaume Ferras, creative director at The Macallan. “This release brings together exceptional whisky mastery, innovative materials and immersive storytelling to create a truly harmonious experience.”
Inspired by Fresh Coconut will be available via themacallan.com and selected UK stockists, including Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason. Inspired by Toasted Coconut will be sold at select airports globally.
