Award-winning UK independent bottler The Heart Cut has unveiled the Slow Whisky Club, a new monthly whisky subscription that dedicates each installment to a single distillery. The service launched in March 2026 and pairs 3cl Pocket Pours with tasting videos and meet-the-maker content.

The Slow Whisky Club draws on the relationships The Heart Cut has built with distilleries worldwide. Each month spotlights a different producer, from established names to emerging operations, with an emphasis on people, provenance, and production.

“The Slow Whisky Club is about opening up the wider whisky world — from household names to rising stars — and giving people a way to explore distilleries like never before,” said Georgie Bell, co-founder of The Heart Cut.

“It’s about opening up our little black book even further, and helping people understand what makes each distillery special, worthy of a pour, and — most importantly — a pause on life’s everyday hustle and bustle.”

New members receive a welcome Pocket Pour of BARLEY, The Heart Cut’s house pour, before entering the monthly delivery cycle. Subsequent months include one or two 3cl Pocket Pours, a tasting card, and digital content exploring each whisky’s flavor and origin.

Selections are curated by married co-founders Georgie and Fabrizio Bell, whose combined experience tasting casks globally underpins every choice. The subscription is priced at £9.90 per month for one pouch or £17.80 for two, with shipping included. Members also receive 10% off BARLEY.

Alongside the consumer launch, The Heart Cut has introduced a trade initiative called Passing the Dram. The program allocates a complimentary three-month membership to one on-trade professional in UK cities: London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham, Bath, Newcastle, Liverpool, Brighton, and Leeds.

The Heart Cut and its UK distributor, NXUS, will select the first participants. At the end of each three-month period, recipients nominate another trade professional in their city to receive the membership, creating an ongoing chain of peer-to-peer recommendations.

The company is also offering 20% off subscriptions to UK hospitality professionals and spirits shop teams.

“Fab and I both started our careers in hospitality, so we understand the importance of category education from a development perspective. We wanted to create something that encourages sharing knowledge and passing it on,” added Bell.

The Heart Cut has earned recognition as an award-winning independent bottler, with its single-cask releases built around distinctive whiskies and the stories behind them. The Slow Whisky Club extends that philosophy into a broader discovery format accessible to consumers and trade professionals alike.
