Talnua Distillery has unveiled Olde Saint’s Keep 2026, a limited-edition American Single Pot Still Whiskey finished in casks sourced from six fellow Colorado distilleries. The Arvada, Colorado-based producer will release 1,200 bottles beginning March 13, 2026, priced at $110.00.

The annual special release is built on a mashbill of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley, triple distilled in the Irish single pot still tradition. The base whiskey was aged for a minimum of three years in Char #2 American White Oak barrels before undergoing a six-to-nine-month finishing period across six distinct cask types.

Each finishing cask was contributed by a different Colorado craft distillery. Bear Creek Distillery supplied a rum cask, Deerhammer Distilling Co. provided an apple brandy cask, and The Family Jones Distillery offered a rye whiskey cask. Laws Whiskey House contributed a wheat whiskey cask, Spirit Hound Distillers supplied a single malt whiskey cask, and Storm King Distilling Co. provided a bourbon whiskey cask.

The finished product carries a minimum four-year age statement and is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof).

“At Talnua, tradition isn’t static, it’s built together,” said founder and master distiller Patrick Miller. “Olde Saint’s Keep 2026 is our way of honoring the people, places, and producers who make Colorado distilling what it is today.”

Miller also tied the release to its St. Patrick’s Day launch timing. “St. Patrick’s Day has always been about community, and this release is a reflection of that spirit,” he said.

Talnua Distillery has carved out a distinctive niche in the American whiskey landscape by specializing in single pot still whiskey, a style historically associated with Ireland. The distillery, founded by Miller, applies traditional Gaelic distilling methods using American-grown ingredients and American oak maturation.

Colorado’s craft spirits sector has gained increasing national and international recognition in recent years, with Talnua Olde Saint’s Keep 2025 recently being named  Best American Pot Still at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards.

Olde Saint’s Keep 2026 will be available at Talnua’s annual St. Patrick’s Day event and via pre-order on the distillery’s website.
