"With Seagram’s 7 Crown Apple Pie, we’re bringing new energy to a flavor people already love," said Frank Dudley, brand director, single malts and emerging whiskies. "It’s familiar, it’s fun and it fits right into the kind of summer people wait all year for, whether you’re carrying on traditions or making new ones."
The official tasting notes from the brand describe a "bold, nostalgic flavor" combining baked apple, warm spice, and a hint of vanilla pie crust.
Seagram’s 7 Crown is positioning the new variant around its signature serve, the 7&7. The recommended cocktail calls for 1.5 ounces of Seagram’s 7 Crown Apple Pie topped with five ounces of 7UP lemon-lime soda in a highball glass over ice, garnished with a lime slice.
The brand said the launch will be supported with retail displays and on-premise activations throughout the summer season.

Seagram’s 7 Crown traces its roots to the 1930s and remains one of the most recognized American blended whiskey brands in the U.S. market. The whiskey is aged in oak and has long been associated with the 7&7 as its flagship mixed drink. Diageo, the London- and New York-listed spirits giant, owns the brand as part of a portfolio that includes Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, Don Julio, and Tanqueray, among others.
Flavored whiskey has emerged as a significant growth driver in the American whiskey category in recent years, with brands across the segment releasing expressions aimed at broadening the category’s appeal to new consumers. The apple pie flavor profile in particular has gained traction, with several competitors offering similar seasonal variants.
