Independent Scotch whisky bottler Saltire Rare Malt held an exclusive tasting event at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) on May 30, 2026, as part of a Scotland Cultural Day organized by students in Palo Alto, California. The evening brought rare single cask Scotch whisky and Scottish cultural programming to approximately 60 graduate students and guests from the GSB community.

READ THE STORYThe event featured traditional Scottish food, a ceilidh, haggis piped in by a bagpiper, and a guided whisky tasting led by the bottler’s USA brand ambassador, Gary Clark.
Clark guided attendees through a rotating collection of expressions including releases from Glenburgie, Aultmore, and Linkwood, alongside bottlings from sister brand Falkland.

The Stanford tasting marks another step in Saltire Rare Malt’s U.S. expansion. The company has recently held launches and tasting events in Texas, Louisiana, and California, alongside partnerships with premium hospitality venues and distributors.
