Rosebank Distillery in Falkirk, Scotland, will launch a new bookable tour and tasting experience on Feb. 26, offering visitors the chance to sample its Rosebank 31 Year Old Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The expression was named Best in the World at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, widely regarded as the industry’s top whisky accolade.
The “Discover the World’s Best Whisky” experience is a 90-minute guided event priced at $63 (£50) per person. Bookings open from Feb. 23, 2026, via www.rosebank.com.
The tasting includes a sample of the award-winning Rosebank 31 Year Old, alongside Rosebank New Make Spirit and an aged spirit drawn from one of the casks filled since the distillery resumed production in 2023. A guided tour of the restored distillery and a look at its future plans are also included.
Rosebank gained additional prestige earlier this year when it’s Legacy Two was tasted by His Majesty King Charles during a visit in January.
The Rosebank 31 Year Old Legacy Release Two is bottled at 48.1% ABV and retails at $2,268 (£1,800) for a 70cl bottle. It forms part of the Rosebank Legacy Collection, a trilogy of rare releases selected from a small number of irreplaceable casks laid down at the original distillery more than three decades ago.
Founded in 1840, Rosebank Distillery underwent a meticulous restoration before reopening to visitors in June 2024. Production resumed on July 18, 2023. The venue was named Whisky Tourism Destination of the Year 2025 at the Scottish Whisky Awards and has also received architectural recognition for its canal-side setting.
Since opening, the distillery has welcomed more than 33,000 visitors from 38 countries. It is located in the heart of Falkirk, approximately 30 minutes from Edinburgh by train.
While the whisky world awaits the maturation of Rosebank’s newly distilled spirit, the distillery’s legacy stocks — aged expressions that have lain undisturbed for over 30 years — remain available in limited quantities. Spaces for the new tour are limited, and advance booking is recommended.
