Edinburgh-based independent bottler Rare Find has released its exclusive Fèis Ìle 2026 Collection, a trio of 12-year-old Caol Ila single malts each finished in a different fortified wine octave cask. The three limited-edition bottlings will be available from select retailers starting Friday, May 22, 2026, with each carrying an RRP of $USD (£99).

READ THE STORYThe collection comprises three expressions: a Ruby Port Octave Finish at 58.2% ABV limited to 61 bottles, a Tawny Port Octave Finish at 58.3% ABV limited to 63 bottles, and a Madeira Octave Finish at 57.9% ABV limited to 66 bottles. Each cask finished for three months in its respective octave.
All three bottlings are presented at cask strength, natural color, and non-chill filtered.

The series also marks the debut of Rare Find’s full art label format. Each bottle features a bespoke color palette designed to reflect the individual character of its cask finish, creating a visual triptych linking flavor and design.

Official tasting notes from the brand describe the Ruby Port finish as offering "smoked barbecue sauce, dried berries, and warming mulling spices" on the nose, with "citrus and granite with medicinal smoke, redcurrants, and raspberries" on the palate. The Tawny Port expression presents "mince pies, cola cubes, medicinal peat smoke, and pineapple chunks," while the Madeira finish delivers "griddled strawberries, salted almonds, ashy smoke, and angelica."
