Heaven Hill Distillery has unveiled the Spring 2026 edition of its Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series, a 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The release, which is the seventeenth national edition in the series, will arrive on US shelves from July at a suggested retail price of $149.99 (£118).

Bottled in an ornate decanter, the spring edition carries a green label, a color consistent across the brand’s spring releases. The decanter’s tax strip discloses when the liquid was produced and bottled, a signature feature of bottled-in-bond products.

To qualify as a bottled-in-bond, the whiskey is the product of a single distillery from a single distilling season. It is aged a minimum of four years and bottled at 100 proof, or 50% abv.
According to the official notes from the brand, the bourbon displays a bright copper color. The nose opens with aromas of crème brûlée layered over old oak and subtle hints of citrus oil.
The palate leads with classic bourbon notes of butterscotch and sugar before unfolding into rich toasted bread. Its finish is soft and sweet, with lingering caramel that fades into warming notes of cloves and pepper.

“This 10-year-old Spring 2026 Edition proudly reflects Heaven Hill’s longstanding bottled-in-bond legacy and embodies the quality and character that have become hallmarks of the series.”
Heaven Hill acquired the Old Fitzgerald line in 1999, alongside the purchase of the Bernheim Distillery. The brand was historically sold on luxury rail lines and steamships.
The packaging was inspired by an original 1950s Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter. Its green label features a graphic of a key, commemorating the brand’s slogan since the 1940s, “Your key to hospitality.”
Founded by the Shapira family in 1935, Heaven Hill maintains more than two million barrels aging in over 70 warehouses across Nelson and Jefferson Counties.
The distillery has been named Distiller of the Year nine times in the past five years.
