READ THE STORYThe rollout aims to reach at least 10 states by fiscal year 2026–27. Both brands will expand across Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh, Goa and Maharashtra.
The launch taps into a fast-growing market. India’s premium spirits sector, where whisky holds the largest revenue share, is forecast to grow at a 12.2% CAGR between 2026 and 2033.
India ranks among the world’s largest whisky markets by volume, with 2025 sales estimated at nearly 280 million cases. Volumes are projected to grow at a CAGR of roughly 7.6% through 2035. Premium and above segments are outpacing the wider category. These posted around 7% growth in both volume and value in the first half of 2025.
Much of the momentum comes from tier-2 cities such as Indore, Lucknow, Pune and Coimbatore, where mid-premium products priced between ₹500 and ₹1,200 are seeing strong gains.
Stainley Gold is crafted using matured imported Scotch malts blended with Indian grain spirit. It is bottled at 42.8% ABV, with official brand notes of soft oak, vanilla and dried fruit.

Both products are manufactured at NV Distilleries & Breweries in Rajpura, Punjab, under Ramesh Gaudo, senior vice-president, blending and bottling.
