Scotch whisky brand The Macallan has launched a nationwide campaign featuring collectible glassware charms, with rare horse charms offering access to exclusive experiences in Scotland and Spain.

The campaign, titled “You Know Me So Well,” begins September 18th and marks a new visual identity for The Macallan’s collections.

Designer David Carson recently created refreshed packaging for the brand’s Double Cask, Sherry Oak, and Colour Collection lines, though the whisky formulations remain unchanged.

Macallan Glass Charms Unlock You Know Me So Well Experiences

Three distinct charms will appear at premium bars and retailers across the United States. The Salmon charm represents the River Spey and Highland Estate, while the Peacock symbolizes the brand’s commitment to natural color. The Horse charm honors The Macallan’s sherry cask tradition through its partnership with Bodegas Grupo Estévez.

Only three Horse charms will be distributed nationally. These rare finds grant access to an exclusive Macallan Society chapter, offering trips to The Macallan Estate in Scotland and sherry bodegas in Jerez, Spain.

“‘You Know Me So Well’ is an invitation to rediscover The Macallan through a deeply personal lens,” said Jaume Ferràs, Global Creative Director for The Macallan. lens. “As we honor our 200-year legacy, this campaign marks an exciting new chapter. By merging our rich heritage with contemporary elements like collectible charms and personalized experiences, we are not only celebrating our history but also creating new rituals and connections with our consumers.

“This initiative reinforces our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and honors the authentic stories that make The Macallan unique.”

Glass Charms Feature in Macallan’s Month-Long Campaign

The month-long activation includes cocktail journeys and immersive pairings at select establishments. Participating venues will serve curated menus with classic cocktail variations while bartenders guide personalized flavor experiences. The glassware charms will also be available at these locations.

Each charm box contains a QR code linking to The Macallan Society membership. Standard membership provides access to exclusive offerings, while Horse charm holders unlock the society’s most exclusive experiences.

The campaign emphasizes The Macallan’s 200-year heritage while introducing modern elements. The brand’s sherry-seasoned oak casks remain central to its identity, maintained through long-standing Spanish partnerships.
