The Louisville Music Festival Alliance has announced two festival pregame events in partnership with Mayor Craig Greenberg and Danny Wimmer Presents. Rock The Ville takes place at Fourth Street Live! on Saturday 19 September 2026, while Bourbon, Brunch, & Bluegrass returns to the NuLu neighborhood on Saturday 26 September 2026.
Both are official Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) pregame events.
Rock The Ville serves as a pregame to the Louder Than Life festival. Bourbon, Brunch, & Bluegrass leads into Bourbon & Beyond. Each event will feature food and drink specials from local businesses, live music, ticket and merchandise giveaways, contests, live art and special activations.

Bourbon, Brunch, & Bluegrass runs from 11am to 3pm on S. Shelby St., between Market St. and Jefferson St. in NuLu. This year’s event will feature a Vinyl Record Show and a Vintage Festival Merch Swap.

“We’re thrilled to bring Bourbon, Brunch, and Bluegrass back to NuLu for another exciting celebration of everything that makes our neighborhood special,” said Katie Meinhart, NuLu Business Association President.
“It’s a great opportunity for locals and visitors alike to enjoy great food, live music, and bourbon while experiencing the energy and hospitality of NuLu before heading out to Bourbon & Beyond.”
Both events are free to attend. Support comes from Delta Dental, Stock Yards Bank & Trust, Fourth Street Live, NuLu Business Association, Louisville Tourism, NuLu Marketplace and TARC.
Attendees are encouraged to visit local bars and restaurants within each event area, which will offer their own specials for the festival weekends.
Bourbon & Beyond, held annually in Louisville, bills itself as the world’s largest bourbon and music festival, combining spirits, food and live performances across multiple stages.
