Independent bottler Lost Lantern has unveiled a Fall 2026 collection dedicated entirely to Tennessee’s George Dickel, marking its first partnership with a large heritage distillery. The range spans styles including 18-year-old Tennessee whiskey, wheat whiskey, light whiskey and rye, and will launch on Wednesday 21 October.

The Vermont-based bottler follows its United States of Bourbon release, the first blend of bourbon from all 50 states, with the George Dickel Collection.

Founded by Nora Ganley-Roper and Adam Polonski, Lost Lantern is an award-winning independent bottler of American whiskey based in Vergennes, Vermont, and seeks out distinctive whiskies from across the US.

READ THE STORY

George Dickel is produced at Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. in Tullahoma, Tennessee, founded in 1878 and rebuilt in the 1950s.

Nicole Austin took over as general manager and distiller of Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. in March 2018. She also serves as Diageo’s director of American whiskey liquid development. Working with Austin, the founders selected whiskies showcasing lesser-known styles the distillery has rarely released.

“Our mission has always been to shine a light on wonderful whiskies from all across the country,” said Polonski, head of whiskey sourcing for Lost Lantern. “From the beginning, we’ve always said we’d be open to working with a large, well-known heritage distillery, as long as we had something to add to the conversation about that distillery and could work with them the same way we work with small distilleries.”

The collection ranges from wheat whiskey and light whiskey to bourbon that has not undergone charcoal filtration and Tennessee-distilled rye.

“These are whiskies that we didn’t even know George Dickel made until we visited and started working with Nicole,” said Ganley-Roper, general manager and head blender. “Our George Dickel Collection is the ultimate whiskey nerd’s take on one of the giants of American whiskey.”

Three releases sit in the Single Distillery Series: Fabled Forest Tennessee Whiskey ($99.99 / £74), Wild Woodland Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey ($79.99 / £59) and Golden Grove Tennessee Straight Wheat Whiskey ($79.99 / £59).

A range of single casks representing seven styles, including 18-year-old expressions at $249.99 (£185), rounds out the collection.

All releases are cask strength, non-chill-filtered and released with no color added. Availability begins via LostLanternWhiskey.com, Seelbachs.com, select retailers in California, New York, Massachusetts and Illinois, and the Vergennes tasting room.
