Little Book Chapter 10 "All the Wiser" Celebrates Freddie Noe's Milestone

The James B. Beam Distilling Co. has unveiled Little Book Chapter 10: "All the Wiser," a milestone release celebrating 10 years of the annual blended whiskey series created by eighth-generation distiller Freddie Noe. The limited-edition expression carries a suggested retail price of $159.99 and is bottled at 122.6 proof (61.3% ABV).

Since its launch, the Little Book series has served as Noe’s personal exploration of blending, honoring the legacy of his grandfather, legendary master distiller Booker Noe, while pushing the boundaries of American whiskey.

Chapter 10 marks a philosophical shift for the distiller. Rather than pursuing precision, Noe adopted a more intuitive approach for this release, allowing the whiskey itself to guide the blending process.

The blend draws from a spectrum of aged expressions across the James B. Beam Distilling Co. portfolio. Components finished in sherry casks and toasted bourbon casks are among the whiskeys included in the final blend.

The official tasting notes from the brand describe a deep auburn color with an aroma of "layers of fig, raisin and molasses." The palate is "full-bodied with velvety caramel, cinnamon and oak," leading to "a long finish with seasoned oak and raisin."

The Little Book series has grown into one of the most collectible annual releases in the American whiskey category. Each chapter explores a different theme and blending concept, with previous editions incorporating combinations of bourbon, rye, malt whiskey, and grain whiskey from various sources within the Beam Suntory family of distilleries.

Freddie Noe serves as the eighth generation of the Beam family to work in the distilling business. He took on the role of carrying forward the family’s whiskey-making tradition following in the footsteps of his father, Fred Noe, who serves as the seventh-generation Beam master distiller.

James B. Beam Distilling Co. operates as part of Beam Suntory, one of the world’s largest premium spirits companies. The distillery, located in Clermont, Kentucky, remains one of the most visited bourbon destinations in the state.

Little Book Chapter 10: "All the Wiser" will be available in limited quantities at select retailers nationwide.
