Kimpton Everly Hollywood will launch a seven-strong cocktail menu inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins at its Bar at Written Hand from October 1. The themed serves are available through October 31 and are presented as a deck of tarot cards, allowing guests to select or blindly draw their drink.
The Halloween offering ties each cocktail to one of the seven sins.
The Gluttony serve is a Zombie-style tiki drink. It combines high-proof Jamaican and aged rums, Velvet Falernum, absinthe, grenadine, grapefruit, lime and cinnamon. The cocktail is set alight before serving. The bar limits guests to two of the drinks.

Sloth is described as a serve “for the guest who has no plans to leave the barstool.” The purple Rickey blends butterfly pea tea, London dry gin, lime and soda, finished with a lime twist.
