Jim Beam Revives Iconic Ten-Pin Decanter for 2026 Release

Jim Beam has announced the return of its Ten-Pin Decanter, a bowling pin-shaped bottle first introduced in the 1950s, as a 2026 limited release. The expression launched on August 22, 2026, exclusively at The American Outpost at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky.

The decanter pays tribute to the collectible Jim Beam bottles originally gifted by Jim Beam to friends, family and business associates.

Those vintage bottles went on to become among the most recognizable releases in the brand’s history. Today, they remain prized collectibles among Jim Beam fans and whiskey enthusiasts.

For its return, the decanter is filled with a 10-year-old, 100-proof (50% ABV) Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, aged in new charred American oak barrels.

The extended aging is intended to bring added depth to the expression while reflecting a bourbon-making legacy the Beam family has carried forward since 1795.

“The Ten-Pin bottle is one of those pieces of Beam history that people remember, and bringing it back gave us an opportunity to honor that legacy in a way that feels true to who we are today,” said Freddie Noe, eighth-generation master distiller at the James B. Beam Distilling Co.

“We wanted the bourbon inside to be just as special as the bottle itself, so we chose a 10-year-old, 100-proof expression that reflects the craftsmanship our family has carried forward for generations,” Noe added. “I’m excited for people to experience it here in Clermont, where that history continues to come to life.”

According to the official notes from the brand, the bourbon pours a deep golden amber, with an aroma of rich oak, vanilla, baked bread and a hint of caramel. On the palate, it offers notes of toffee, toasted oak, baking spices and a touch of fruit, leading to a long, warm finish.

The release will be celebrated at Jim Beam Day at the Clermont campus. The event will feature an exclusive tasting of vintage Jim Beam expressions, customization opportunities and immersive experiences.

The 750ml bottle will retail for $124.99 (£93) in limited quantities.
