The piece launched at the city’s iconic Pioneer Court as part of the bourbon brand’s ongoing “Home Field Advantage” campaign ahead of the United States Men’s National Soccer Team’s (USMNT) send-off match against Germany.

READ THE STORYThe installation was crafted in Mr. Flower Fantastic’s signature medium, featuring yellow goldenrod, the official state flower of Kentucky, where Jim Beam has been produced for more than two centuries. The piece was designed to symbolically “give the USMNT their flowers” before the team departs to compete at the FIFA 2026 World Cup.
Following its debut at Pioneer Court, the installation is set to tour additional locations across Chicago.
Jim Beam launched the Home Field Advantage campaign last month with the goal of inspiring fans across the country to rally behind the USMNT. The initiative encourages supporters to transform everyday spaces into displays of team pride.
The brand extended its activation with a block party appearance from American soccer legend Tim Howard. Fans gathered for a chance to meet Howard and enjoy interactive experiences, custom merchandise opportunities, games, photo moments, and refreshing Jim Beam cocktails at the Jim Beam U.S. Soccer Block Party.
