Jackton Distillery, the family-owned Lowland distillery in South Lanarkshire, will host a Local Appreciation Weekend on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14. The two-day event will feature discounted tours, retail savings and a live country music hoedown.

The female-led distillery is offering a two-for-one Tour & Tasting experience to residents in postcodes G74, G75, G76 and G77. Tours will run every hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days and conclude with a guided tasting for guests aged 18 and over.

Visitors can also receive 15% off all retail products in the physical and online shop by subscribing to the distillery newsletter. The discount applies to whisky, gin and gift boxes from 00:01 on Friday through 23:59 on Saturday. Bar purchases and gift vouchers are excluded.

Saturday evening will see the return of Jackton Hoedown III, a live country music event held at the distillery. Tickets are priced at £10 per person and include a welcome cocktail on arrival. A four-for-three ticket offer is available while capacity lasts, with live music running from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the bar open until 11 p.m.

Jaynie Kean, managing director of Jackton Distillery, said: “Local Appreciation Weekend is about inviting people in and showing them what we do. We’re proud of how the distillery has grown, and we want our neighbors to feel part of that journey.”

“Whether it’s a tour, a gift for someone special, or joining us for the Hoedown, this weekend is a simple way of saying thank you and encouraging people to come back again,” Kean added.

Founded by the Kean family, Jackton Distillery produces its RAER portfolio of spirits. The range is currently led by blended Scotch whiskies with a variety of cask finishes, alongside gin, vodka, and wine.

The distillery is working toward full grain-to-glass production. Its first single malt whisky is scheduled for release in September 2026.

In recent years, Jackton has built a reputation for its intimate tours, seasonal events and a growing program of community-led experiences. The distillery sits within Scotland’s Lowland whisky region, an area that has seen renewed investment and a wave of new distillery openings over the past decade, with producers emphasizing approachable, lighter spirit styles.

Tour spaces and Hoedown tickets are limited and can be booked via raer.co.uk/events.
