Ingram Distillery has released the sixth batch of its limited-edition Flagship Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey for Bourbon Heritage Month. The 7-year-old wheated bourbon is available now in select U.S. markets, direct-to-consumer channels and at the distillery in Columbus, Kentucky.
Flagship is positioned as Ingram’s signature annual bourbon expression. The name refers to the leading vessel in a fleet, reflecting the brand’s maturation model aboard floating barrelhouses on the Mississippi River.
Each fall, the distillery selects barrels from those floating warehouses for the release. Batch six is bottled at 113.8 proof and has a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% wheat and 9% malted barley.

The whiskey brings together 25 barrels. According to the distillery, 21 lower-deck barrels contribute a rounded and elegant character, while four upper-deck barrels add oak influence and greater intensity.
The official tasting notes from the brand list aromas of pie crust, honey, vanilla wafer and milk chocolate, with hints of toasted coconut.
On the palate, Ingram describes a silky mouthfeel with light spice, graham cracker, nougat and caramel, alongside subtleties of cream soda and cinnamon. The finish is said to feature cocoa nibs, vanilla and hints of sandalwood.
