Indian single malt Indri has released its Diwali Collector’s Edition 2026 Ruby Port Cask in the US, the fourth installment in its annual limited festive series. The whisky goes on sale in the US from October 15, 2026, priced at $250 and capped at just 540 individually numbered bottles.
The release is produced in the village of Indri, Haryana, in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is matured in hand-selected ruby port casks sourced from Portugal, prized for their rich and sweet wines.
Indri master blender Surrinder Kumar crafted the collection in small batches from indigenous six-row Indian barley. The whisky is distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured in northern India’s subtropical climate.

Bottled at a cask strength of 58.5% ABV, the expression carries aromas of black cherries, wild berries and ripe plums, leading to a palate of honeyed fruits and roasted nuts, with notes of toffee, vanilla and figs.
“The Diwali Collector’s Edition pushes the boundaries of Indian single malt, while staying true to what makes it distinctly Indri, and has been consistently recognized in international awards,” said Kumar. “This year’s ruby port cask expression offers a new dimension, drawing on the depth and character of Portugal’s wine casks, shaped by the unique climate here at Indri.”
Kumar added: “The 2026 release brings together whisky and artistry in a collector’s masterpiece celebrating heritage, craftsmanship and the spirit of modern India.”
