Hoochenanny Festival 2026: New Dates, New Perinton Location

Hoochenanny Festival will return for its third year from August 14 to 16, 2026, at a new location: Center Park West in the Town of Perinton, Fairport, N.Y. The move follows a record-breaking 2025 edition that drew more than 8,000 attendees from over 30 U.S. states and Canada.

The three-day event, previously known as the Hoochenanny Whiskey & Music Festival, has been rebranded as the Hoochenanny Festival. The updated name reflects a broader celebration of live music, community pride, whiskey, craft beverages and American craftsmanship.

Organizers said the relocation to Perinton provides a larger setting to accommodate the festival’s rapid growth. Attendance has surged from a few hundred guests during its inaugural year in 2023 to thousands in 2025, with VIP passes for Saturday and Sunday selling out.

“We’re excited to bring the Hoochenanny Festival to the Town of Perinton and begin the next chapter of the festival in Fairport,” said Sean McCarthy, co-owner of the festival. “The new location gives us the space to continue growing while creating even more opportunities for guests, partners and vendors.”

McCarthy added: “The Town of Perinton shares our vision for building something meaningful that celebrates craftsmanship, music and community, and we’re looking forward to working together to shape the future of the festival.”

Tommy Brunett, co-founder of the festival and co-owner of Iron Smoke Distillery in the Village of Fairport, emphasized the connection between the event and its home community. “Hoochenanny 2025 was a true celebration of craftsmanship across music, art, food and spirits, all rooted in our ethos of Cultivating the Uncommon,” Brunett said.

“Moving the festival to Perinton allows us to grow the experience while strengthening our connection to the Fairport community that Iron Smoke calls home,” he continued. “Sean and I see tremendous opportunity to collaborate with local businesses and partners while building a festival that continues to raise the bar for the region.”

Perinton Town Supervisor Jenn Townsend expressed support for the event. “This festival represents the very best of Perinton — a community that dreams boldly, works collaboratively, and brings big ideas to life,” Townsend said. “Events like this bring people together, support local businesses, and showcase what makes Perinton such a special place.”

The music lineup, whiskey programming and vendor application details are expected to be announced this spring. More information is available at hoochenanny.com.
