GlenDronach House Editions: New Travel Retail Scotch Range

Brown-Forman Global Travel Retail has announced The Glendronach House Editions, a new collection of three single malt scotch whiskies exclusive to the travel retail channel. The range will debut in major European airports in July 2026 before a phased global rollout completing by October 2026.

READ THE STORY

The collection marks the first time The Glendronach has developed a curated travel retail concept of this scale. It coincides with the Highland distillery’s bicentennial anniversary, celebrating 200 years of sherry cask maturation expertise.

Conceptualized by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, the House Editions comprise three non-peated single malts, each inspired by a renowned European cultural city. The expressions are The Sevillian Room, matured in Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Palo Cortado casks at 43% ABV (1L); The Venetian Room, matured in Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Amarone casks at 46% ABV (700ml); and The Parisian Room, matured in Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Cognac casks at 49% ABV (700ml).

Each expression draws on casks exclusive to the travel retail channel. The collection’s concept is rooted in the distillery’s founding story. Founder James Allardice was known for hosting gatherings and entertaining guests with stories of distant lands when he established the distillery in 1826.

Brown-Forman will support the launch with a 360-degree retail activation. Each expression will be showcased within its own dedicated space inside a circular, open rotunda design. A central discovery, tasting, and gifting island will bring all three expressions together.

The activation will include cask education highlighting the origin and role of each cask type, storytelling panels explaining the inspiration behind each city, and an interactive map connecting each whisky to its namesake destination. Travelers will also be able to personalize purchases with customized travel tags and gift packaging.

The launch reflects Brown-Forman’s increased investment in The Glendronach within the global travel retail channel. The House Editions will complement the brand’s existing travel retail and core portfolio, which includes the 10, 16, and 21-year-old expressions, along with recently launched 30 and 40-year-old bottlings.

Pricing details have not yet been disclosed. Brown-Forman has not confirmed which specific airport locations will stock the collection at launch.
