Nevada-based Frey Ranch Distillery has launched a new direct-to-consumer (DTC) subscription service for its core whiskey expressions. The program, named ‘Harvest the Savings’, went live on 3 February and provides tiered discounts on its flagship Four Grain Bourbon, Straight Rye, and Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon.
The launch reflects a growing trend in the American spirits industry, where craft producers are increasingly leveraging DTC sales channels to foster brand loyalty and reach customers directly. This model gained significant traction following the Covid-19 pandemic, which accelerated consumer adoption of online alcohol purchasing and prompted changes to state-level shipping laws.

The new service from Frey Ranch Distillery was developed after the brand noted an 11% year-over-year increase in its eCommerce revenue for 2025.
Ashley Frey, co-founder and chief storyteller, said: “In 2025, we experienced an 11% increase in overall eCommerce revenue from the previous year, which was precipitated by our desire to speak more directly to our fanbase through DTC promotions, exciting product bundles, free shipping, exclusive launches, and other opportunities to communicate our unique estate distilling message.”
Subscribers to ‘Harvest the Savings’ can choose from three delivery frequencies.
The ‘Slow Sip Society’ offers quarterly deliveries with a 5% discount. ‘Between Harvests’ provides bi-monthly shipments with a 10% saving, while the ‘Never Run Dry’ option includes monthly deliveries and a 15% discount.
All subscribers will also receive free shipping on their first purchase through the distillery’s online shop.
“As a farm-to-glass distillery, everything we do starts in the fields and ends with our community,” Frey continued.
“Harvest the Savings allows us to deepen that connection by offering subscribers exclusive benefits, better value, and a direct link to the whiskey we proudly produce in Fallon, Nevada,” she added.
The subscription service is a strategic move to capitalize on the distillery’s “farm-to-glass” identity, a key differentiator in the competitive American whiskey market.
Frey Ranch is among a select group of distilleries that grow 100% of the grains used in their mash bills. The family has farmed in northern Nevada for generations, operating under the motto, “Be good to the land and the land will be good to you.”
