Four Roses Distillery is releasing the second rotation of its Single Barrel Collection across the United States this May. The collection features three recipes — OESQ, OESF, and OBSK — each aged seven to nine years and bottled at 100 proof, with a suggested retail price of $49.99 per bottle.

The Kentucky-based distillery first introduced the Single Barrel Collection last year. The program was designed to offer consumers deeper access to the brand’s 10 unique bourbon recipes, each defined by a specific combination of mash bill and proprietary yeast strain.

The latest rotation showcases profiles centered on floral, mint, and spice characteristics.

According to official notes from the brand, recipe OESQ presents red berries and honey on the nose before transitioning to light oak, vanilla, and floral aromas on the palate. This expression uses the distillery’s 20% rye mash bill E paired with its Floral Essence yeast strain Q.

Recipe OESF offers a nose of candied fruit, clove, and oak that give way to a palate of light mint and soft grains, per the brand’s official tasting notes. It combines the same 20% rye mash bill E with the Herbal Note yeast strain F.

The third expression, OBSK, contains the highest rye content of the new collection at 35% rye mash bill B, paired with the Slight Spice yeast strain K. Official notes from the brand describe allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon as defining characteristics.

Four Roses is one of Kentucky’s heritage bourbon producers, operating from its distinctive Spanish Mission-style distillery in Lawrenceburg. The brand’s approach to using five proprietary yeast strains and two mash bills to create 10 distinct recipes sets it apart in the American whiskey category.

The Single Barrel Collection represents part of a broader industry trend toward transparency around production methods and recipe-specific releases. Consumers have shown increasing interest in single barrel programs that highlight the nuances of individual bourbon recipes.

All three expressions will be available at retailers nationwide at $49.99.
