Eden Mill has launched Winter in St Andrews, a blood orange, cinnamon and clove gin, as the next release in its seasonal range. The limited-edition expression is restricted to just 500 bottles and is priced at £32 ($43).
Hamish Maclean, senior brand manager at Eden Mill, said: “Summer in St Andrews showed us there is a real appetite for small, seasonal releases that capture moments in this special town.”
He added: “Winter in St Andrews is an ode to the shorter days, warmer flavours, and gathering round loved ones with a warming drink as the sun sets.”

READ THE STORYEden Mill has crafted the winter edition gin for aperitivo hour, recommending it as the base of a Negroni. The serve combines equal parts Winter in St Andrews, sweet vermouth and Campari, built over ice and finished with an orange twist.
Maclean also commented on the liquid’s suitability for its signature cocktail.
“Blood orange is a natural partner for the Negroni – bittersweet citrus merges with the Campari and the cinnamon and clove carry through the vermouth,” he said.
“To my taste, it’s rounder and warmer than the classic, and a serve we’ll be pouring at the distillery bar all winter long.”
Eden Mill is based in Guardbridge, near St Andrews, in Fife, Scotland. The distillery produces a range of gins and whiskies and markets itself on its connection to the historic Scottish town.
The seasonal gin series taps into a wider trend among craft producers for limited-edition and small-batch releases. Such bottlings allow distilleries to experiment with flavors and generate consumer interest through scarcity.
Winter in St Andrews is available at the distillery, from edenmill.com and from select specialist retailers in St Andrews.
