Crown Royal has officially rolled out Crown Royal Marquis across the United States, a new blended Canadian whisky finished in Caribbean rum casks. The nationwide launch follows a limited market introduction in Georgia, Maryland, Washington D.C., and select military bases in May 2025.

The expression carries a suggested retail price of $39.99 and is now available wherever spirits are sold.

Crown Royal Marquis is designed to target nightlife occasions, positioning itself as a contemporary whisky suited for bars, dance floors, and social gatherings. The brand has dubbed these occasions “Marquis Moments.”

Official tasting notes from the brand describe a smooth yet layered profile with notes of honey, brown sugar, vanilla, fig, and date. The Caribbean rum cask finish gives the liquid a distinctive character within the Crown Royal portfolio.

Hadley Schafer, VP of Crown Royal, said at the time of initial release: “Crown Royal Marquis is a very special innovation for the brand, one that truly brings to life our goal of creating exceptional whiskies for every occasion.”

Schafer added: “Its layered flavors and strikingly unique bottle were crafted with everyday royalty in mind. Consumers (+21) can enjoy a spirit that makes a delicious cocktail and represents that inviting energy we want to see again in nightlife culture.”

The brand recommends enjoying the whisky neat, on the rocks, or in signature cocktails. Two featured serves accompany the launch: the Marquis Daiquiri and the Crown Royal Marquis Moment, both of which pair the whisky with pineapple juice.

The Marquis Daiquiri combines 1.5 oz of Crown Royal Marquis with pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup, shaken and strained into a coupe glass. The Crown Royal Marquis Moment blends the whisky with pineapple juice, club soda, and a splash of lime over ice.

The national rollout reinforces Crown Royal’s broader push into innovation and occasion-based marketing. Crown Royal, owned by Diageo, is one of the world’s leading Canadian whisky brands and has expanded its range significantly in recent years with flavored and finished expressions.
