Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Malbon Golf unveiled their second capsule collection on Thursday, launching Irish plaid-inspired apparel and barware just days before The Open Championship returns to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. The limited-edition collaboration features golf clothing ranging from $42 to $168 and crystal barware sets priced up to $285, marking the spirits brand’s continued push into lifestyle merchandising

Bushmills x Malbon Golf Collection Expands Product Range

The new line builds on the brands’ 2024 partnership with nine apparel pieces and three barware sets. Products include t-shirts at $68, a heather grey hoodie at $168, and a woven white vest at $148. The collection incorporates design elements from Northern Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway and features the brands’ “Buckets” mascot throughout.

“Following last year’s successful collaboration with Bushmills, which reimagined the timeless pairing of whiskey and golf, we knew we had to go even bigger for our second drop,” Malbon co-founder Stephen Malbon said in a statement.

The apparel line includes weather-resistant pieces like a $148 nylon windshirt designed for North Coast conditions. Accessories include a white hat at $42 and navy visor at $44, both featuring co-branded logos. All clothing items showcase Irish plaid patterns and regional design influences.

Malbon Golf and Bushmills Introduce Premium Barware Sets

The collaboration’s barware offerings represent the highest-priced items in the collection. A flask and luggage tag set crafted from Irish navy leather retails for $198, available exclusively at bushmills.com. The Glencairn whiskey glass set costs $55 and comes in a leather travel case.

The premium crystal decanter set, priced at $285, includes hand-etched pieces featuring the Bushmills x Malbon insignia. This set and the Glencairn glasses are only available at the Bushmills Distillery and through the brand’s website.

The timing aligns with The Open Championship at Royal Portrush, located near the Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim. The 2024 collaboration marked the first partnership between a spirits company and Malbon Golf, which has previously worked with brands across fashion and sports.

Products are available at malbongolf.com, bushmills.com/malbon, and the Bushmills Distillery in Northern Ireland. The collection represents an expansion from last year’s offering, which included leather flasks, cotton crewnecks, and bucket hats.
