Brother’s Bond Bourbon, the American whiskey brand co-founded by actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, is marking Father’s Day on June 21 with a complimentary Old Fashioned cocktail for every dad booked into one of 12 participating venues across London, Manchester, and the wider UK. The promotion spans locations including Langans Brasserie in London’s Mayfair and Elysium in Manchester, with guests simply required to book a table directly through each venue’s website.

The campaign leans into the brand’s founding ethos. Somerhalder and Wesley created Brother’s Bond Bourbon from a ritual of sharing whiskey together on set at the end of the day. For the pair, the spirit has always been tied to companionship rather than solitary drinking.

Somerhalder serves as the brand’s blending master, overseeing mash bill development, barrel selection, and final blends. Wesley works alongside him on flavor direction, brand creative voice, and long-term portfolio strategy.

Their hands-on involvement has drawn industry recognition. Respected American whiskey critic Fred Minnick awarded Somerhalder an ASCOT award for having “the best celebrity palate in whiskey.”

At the core of Brother’s Bond Bourbon is a four-grain mash bill comprising corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. The brand describes the result as “a whiskey profile with equal sensory proportion across the palate.”

Official tasting notes from the brand highlight baked cereal, honeyed sweetness, and subtle nutty spice. The brand positions the liquid as “approachable enough for the casual sipper, complex enough for the dad who knows his pours.”

Participating London venues include Moi on Wardour Street, ALTA in Carnaby’s Kingly Court, Gold on Portobello Road, and Julie’s on Portland Road. In the north of England, the promotion extends to Maltdog and Wandering Palate in Eccles, The Bulls Head in Mobberley, Edinburgh Castle in Ancoats, Sock & Buskin in Buxton, and Death by Tacos in Chester.

The offer is valid only on June 21, 2026. Guests must book directly through each venue’s website to claim the complimentary cocktail on arrival.

Brother’s Bond launched in the UK early in 2026. The brand sits within a growing category of celebrity-founded spirits that emphasize founder involvement in liquid development, distinguishing it from licensing-led ventures.
