Bourbon Women, the first national whiskey organization for women in the United States, will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026 with special programming across 16 branch locations. The Louisville-based organization plans to release an anniversary whiskey blend and announce its first international expansion.

“We are thrilled to celebrate fifteen years of Bourbon Women, and celebrate we will,” said Peggy Noe Stevens, founder of Bourbon Women.

The association will commemorate the milestone with a specially designed whiskey collaboration created by Bourbon Women experts, distillers, master tasters, and master blenders.

“In everything we do, we seek to inspire, educate, and empower our members,” Stevens added. “Thanks to the support of our distillery partners and dedicated board members who lead the organization, we are taking it to a new level.”

A new premium education credentialing program will launch this year, offering special discounts for members and establishing participants as authorities on American whiskey knowledge.

The annual SIPosium conference will take place from August 13-16, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. The event will feature exclusive tastings, VIP distillery tours, curated pairings, and workshops led by industry leaders.

“We sought to build a community of spirited women one sip at a time. That mission still rings true today, 15 years later,” Stevens explained. “Our members have built every inch of the organization; it’s truly been an amazing journey.”

Bourbon Women will also introduce “Trippettes,” luxury weekend getaways for members, and host virtual programs throughout the year accessible to members globally.

The organization plans to announce details of its first global expansion later in 2026.

Founded in 2011, Bourbon Women has grown to include branches in major cities including Chicago, Tennessee, Texas, New York City, and Washington, D.C. The organization also operates the Bourbon Women Foundation, which funds programs supporting women and underrepresented groups in the spirits industry through initiatives like SIP Scholars and leadership training opportunities.
