B.R. Distilling Company has broadened distribution of its award-winning Blue Note Bourbon portfolio into Indiana and Nebraska. The Memphis-based producer has selected Vino Indiana and Quench Fine Wines for the two markets, respectively, while also naming Heritage Wine & Spirits as its new distributor in Kentucky.

The move marks a continued push to widen access to the brand as consumer demand grows.

“Choosing the right distribution partners is one of the most important decisions a growing whiskey brand can make,” said Dan Jurkovic, national sales director at B.R. Distilling. “As consumer demand for Blue Note Bourbon increases, we’re excited to welcome these three new distribution partners to our network.”

Jurkovic added: “Their market expertise, strong retail relationships, and shared commitment to building premium spirits brands will help us expand our reach while ensuring more consumers have access to our award-winning portfolio. We look forward to working together to accelerate growth in these key markets.”

Blue Note’s whiskey portfolio is distilled in Kentucky and then aged just north of downtown Memphis, where the Mississippi and Wolf Rivers meet.

According to the brand, the long, hot summers and cooler evenings force the whiskey deep into the oak, creating a flavor that is “bold yet smooth.”

The portfolio includes flagship Juke Joint ($34.99), Toasted (formerly Crossroads) ($44.99), Uncut ($49.99), and Straight Rye Whiskey ($34.99).

At the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Juke Joint and Crossroads were awarded Platinum medals. The honor signifies that each expression received Double Gold medals for three consecutive years.

Blue Note has also introduced several limited-release offerings in recent years. These include Premium Small Batch, Single Barrel Reserve, Special Reserve, a 17-year-old, and Honey Rye and Honey Bourbon Cask expressions.

Founded in 2014, B.R. Distilling is the oldest licensed distillery in Memphis, Tennessee.

The company produces five flagship expressions alongside regular limited releases. Its products are distributed across more than two dozen US states and Washington, DC, and are also available online via BlueNoteBourbon.com.

The addition of Indiana and Nebraska further extends the brand’s national footprint.
