Tennessee small-batch bourbon brand Bib & Tucker has launched 8-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon, a 100-proof expression and the brand’s first bonded release. The bourbon is aged for eight years, twice the four-year minimum required under the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.

The bourbon is made with a Tennessee high-rye mash bill, which the brand said “provides added spice, structure and complexity.”
It is charcoal mellowed through the Lincoln County Process, a step the brand said adds “smoothness and depth.” The process filters the spirit through sugar-maple charcoal before barrel aging and is a defining characteristic of Tennessee whiskey.
The expression has already earned a gold medal at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The bourbon is produced in small batches and was stewarded by apprentice blender James Joseph under the mentorship of master blender Alan Kennedy.
The release marks Joseph’s debut. According to the brand, the bourbon “reflects how whiskey knowledge is passed from one generation of makers to the next.”
Bottled-in-bond expressions have seen renewed interest in recent years as consumers seek transparency and provenance in American whiskey. The designation guarantees the spirit’s age, proof and single-distillery origin, offering a federal standard of authenticity.
The bonded segment has become a point of focus for both heritage and craft producers looking to signal quality and consistency.
Bib & Tucker is part of the Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits portfolio. The brand takes its name from a 19th-century American phrase meaning one’s finest attire.
The launch expands Bib & Tucker’s range beyond its core small-batch offerings, adding a higher-proof, age-stated expression to its lineup.
