Matthew 25 AIDS Services will host its second annual BBQ, Bourbon & Burlesque fundraiser on Saturday, October 24, at Warehouse 410 in Evansville, Indiana. The event will feature a bourbon experience led by Green River Distilling Co., a silent auction and a burlesque performance, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit.
Caryn Wells, national brand ambassador for Green River Distilling Co., will lead the bourbon experience for guests.

She will share “the history, craftsmanship and character behind the historic Owensboro distillery and its award-winning portfolio.”
Green River Distilling Co. is based in Owensboro, Kentucky, one of the oldest operating distilleries in the state. The distillery was founded in 1885 and now sits along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

The lineup includes Heaven Hill Distillery, Hard Truth Distilling Co., Larrikin Bourbon Company, Old Dominick Distillery and Purple Toad Winery.
Guests will also sample products from a range of regional and national producers.

READ THE STORYA silent auction will feature more than 30 bourbon-themed packages. These include “unique and sought-after bottles, tasting experiences, specialty products and other offerings curated for whiskey enthusiasts.”
The auction’s premier lot offers two seats on Matthew 25’s private single-barrel selection team at Green River Distilling on November 13.
The winning guests will help select the barrel for Matthew 25’s exclusive 30-year commemorative bourbon bottle. The bottle marks the organization’s three decades of service.
The experience is not available for general purchase and will be offered only through the silent auction.
Barbecue will be prepared by Chef What. Evansville’s Drop Dead Darlings burlesque troupe will give an hour-long performance.
Roaring ’20s-inspired attire is encouraged but not required.
The VIP experience runs from 6pm to 6:45pm, with general admission doors opening at 6:45pm. The event takes place from 7pm to 9:30pm CST and is limited to guests aged 21 and older.
All proceeds benefit Matthew 25 AIDS Services. The nonprofit provides “comprehensive healthcare, testing, prevention education and support services” to individuals at risk for, living with or impacted by HIV and other sexually transmitted infections throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
