Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS) has introduced Barrell Decade 2, a blend of whiskeys distilled each year from 1995 to 2005. The 20-year-old expression features secondary maturation in Spanish brandy and Hungarian oak casks.
The release is the second in the series, following Barrell Decade, which debuted last summer. Barrell Decade 2 uses the same barrels and finishing techniques as the original Barrell Decade.
It also forms part of the company’s Black Label Series. That range also includes the 20-year-old Toasted Single Barrel, Toasted Vantage, Full Proof Bourbon, and a 33-year-old whiskey finished in French oak and Oloroso Sherry casks.
