The American Whiskey Association (AWA) will spotlight American whiskey at a series of US Embassy celebrations marking America’s 250th anniversary. The events will take place across global markets including New Delhi, Paris, London, Brussels, Berlin and Singapore.
AWA and participating member companies are supporting the high-profile events alongside US diplomatic posts and international partners.
The celebrations will bring American whiskey before thousands of invited guests. These include Americans stationed overseas, foreign government officials, business leaders and trade partners.

Member companies are providing premium American whiskeys, legacy labels and select products suitable for neat, on-the-rocks and cocktail service.
The aim is to showcase the category’s range and quality while telling the broader story of American agriculture, distilling, American oak, barrel making and exports.
"American whiskey is one of the clearest examples of how American agriculture, manufacturing, hospitality and trade come together in a single product," said Michael Bilello, president and CEO of the AWA.

Bilello added that the events serve a wider purpose. "These events are not simply tastings. They are opportunities to put American whiskey in front of the right audiences at the right moment."
Brown-Forman is among the participating companies. "We’re proud to lead in this space by offering consumers iconic American whiskey brands, including Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Woodford Reserve Bourbon and the world’s first bottled bourbon, Old Forester," said Michael Masick, executive vice president and president, Americas, Brown-Forman.
Suntory Global Spirits is showcasing its portfolio at the events. "We are proud stewards of legacy brands like Jim Beam and Maker’s Mark," said Greg Hughes, president and CEO at Suntory Global Spirits.
Sazerac and MGP Ingredients are also taking part. "Few products tell the story of America quite like American whiskey," said Jake Wenz, CEO of Sazerac.
Campari Group is featuring Wild Turkey. "Kentucky bourbon is a hallmark of American identity, where Wild Turkey stands among the finest expressions," said Simon Hunt, Campari Group CEO.
Independent Stave Company is supporting the events through its cooperage. "American white oak plays an essential role in the story of American whiskey," said Brad Boswell, CEO of Independent Stave Company.
The AWA continues to engage on tariffs, market-access barriers, category protection and global promotion in Washington and key international markets.
