Chivas Brothers, the scotch whisky arm of Pernod Record and creators of Chivas Regal and Royal Salute, are venturing into the world of luxury accommodation with the opening of a new luxury guesthouse in Speyside.
The Victorian manor, named Linn House, is located in Keith along the River Isla. Offering a secluded luxury getaway for scotch whisky lovers, the house has 12 bedrooms, a whisky library, and a resident chef. With accommodation available to book in blocks of six or 12 bedrooms, the house can be rented for sole occupancy so that guests can enjoy complete privacy during their stay.
Linn House has retained many original Victorian features including a fireplace in the living room, and a walled garden in the grounds, adding to the authenticity and appeal of the manor.
A Luxury Whisky Getaway
Of course, it would not be a ‘scotch whisky lover getaway’ without whisky. As such, the house is home to a whisky library that guests can enjoy during their stay. Some of the drams on offer included single malts from Aberlour, Glenlivet, and Scapa. In addition, there are blended whiskies from Chivas Regal and Royal Salute. Guests will have the option to be expertly guided through these whisky tastings from the comfort of Linn House.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, the team at Linn House will be dedicated to providing a memorable stay for guests by curating itineraries. For whisky lovers, tours of whisky distilleries such as Glenlivet and Strathisla (including a cocktail-making class) and a tour of Speyside’s smuggler’s trails. For more local and Scottish history, a visit to Ballindalloch Castle or Speyside’s famous beaches.
After a long day’s exploration, the resident chef at Linn House will prepare seasonal and traditional Scottish feasts as well as other types of cuisine. Evening meals are three courses, complete with a wine selection.
Chivas Brothers’ Step Towards Luxury
Chivas Brothers is well known for its blended whiskies including the Royal Salute decanters, but this venture into luxury experiences is a new development for the company. Jacques Henri-Brive, Head of Brand Advocacy and Prestige Acceleration, believes that Linn House will serve as a response to the growing numbers of international tourists seeking luxury whisky vacations in Scotland.

How Much Will It Cost To Stay At Linn House?
To house 12 guests in six double bedrooms, it will cost £9,600. And, to house 24 guests in 12 double bedrooms, guest will pay £19,200. These prices are for a two-night stay complete with breakfast and a three course meal on both days. Also included are wine flights at each meal, an ‘exploration’ drinks package for the whisky library, and a bottle of Linn House Reserve whisky. Prices are accurate until 30th June 2024.
