Barrell Craft Spirits Launches in the UK

Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS) has announced the official launch of its portfolio across the Atlantic, in the United Kingdom. The blender has partnered with spirits distributor Axiom Brands, which has brands such as The Glenturret and Tierra Noble under its wing. Axiom will work with BCS as a brand-building and distribution partner. 

The founder of BCS, Joe Beatrice, said: “We’re excited to partner with Axiom Brands – an independent company like Barrell Craft Spirits, which is both passionate about and deeply immersed in the UK drinks market. We’re thrilled to have pioneered the movement to elevate the art of blending in the United States. The UK is a crucial distilled spirits market as we look to expand our distribution abroad”. 

BCS was founded in Louisville in 2013. The company is renowned for blending high-qualty cask-strength whiskey and rum. BCS has won awards for its cask-strength, small batch, and single-barrel releases. One such award was given to the Barrell Craft Spirits Foundation, which was named Best American Whiskey 12 Years and Younger at the World Whiskies Awards 2024. 

Other awards that have recognized BCS include the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Ultimate Spirits Challenge. 

Since its founding, the brand has expanded across 49 US states, Australia, and Canada. Now, Barrell Craft Spirits can add the United Kingdom to that list.
