Scotland’s Kilchoman distillery, which just recently unveiled the 2014 edition of its Loch Gorman whisky, also apparently had another Scotch in the works heading exclusively to World of Whiskies duty free shops in the United Kingdom. Known as Coull Point, it will price for around $75 a bottle.
Said to be bottled at 46% ABV, tasting notes for this Scotch from the distillery indicate on the nose “soft cooked fruits with strong peaty aromas.” On the palate it opens up with “soft mixed fruits and vanilla with an intense sweetness” that finishes long and lingering.
Should you seek out a bottle while you are passing through the United Kingdom, it is specifically available at World of Whiskies’ airport locations at Heathrow T1-T5, both terminals at Gatwick and Manchester, Stansted, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
