Appearance:
This whiskey has a light amber color.
Nose:
There is a touch of sweetness, like a bit of fruitiness, mixed with a smoky scent of the rye.
Palate:
At first there is a hit of spiciness, and a hit of pepper. This is followed by a hit of cinnamon and light citrus flavor. There is also a hint of cherry cola at the end.
Finish:
Comments:
District Made Bottled in Bond Bourbon is a very lovely bourbon. Even though it is 100 proof, it feels a lot lighter than it is. With the spiciness and the hint of cherry cola, this is a fantastic whiskey to drink straight or on the rocks. I would very highly recommend this whiskey.
