The Jack Daniel’s Distillery has unveiled a limited edition Tennessee Whiskey to celebrate its partnership with McLaren Racing. This release is the second such bottling created by a collaboration between the two companies, as they enter their second year of partnership.
The new Jack Daniel’s x McLaren Racing bottling features a striking packaging design using McLaren’s signature ‘papaya’ coloring and the racing company’s logo. Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 logo has also been given a papaya makeover for the release.
In addition to this, the diagonal stripes that sweep across the packaging represent the dynamism of both brands and celebrate the new Formula 1 season which began at the end of February in Bahrain.
The Jack Daniel’s x McLaren Racing is distilled from JD’s classic mash bill consisting of 70% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. The whiskey is then subject to Jack Daniel’s charcoal mellowing (also known as the Lincoln County Process) before being matured in American white oak barrels. It is then bottled at 40% ABV.
Formula 1 race markets across the globe will stock the bottle, as well as select states in the US.
