Tales of the Cocktail Event Slated For Late July In New Orleans

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Tales of the Cocktail Foundation Conference, slated for July 23-28 in New Orleans.

The tickets are available on the Foundation’s website, and in 2023, the conference will toast to its 21st year. The event’s lineup includes seminars, networking opportunities, tastings, and awards programming, all aimed to vitalize the cocktail community. “Vitalize” being the conference’s 2023 theme.

Those interested in heading to the conference can choose from daily and weekly ticket passes, discounted bartender passes, event tickets, and complimentary tickets to Tales’ philanthropic and wellness-focused events, which includes Beyond the Bar and the Days of Service.

“We are thrilled to welcome attendees back to Tales of the Cocktail with a diverse lineup of signature programming that meets the ever-changing needs and interests of our community,” said Eileen Wayner, the Foundation’s CEO. “It’s our honor to be the industry’s annual meeting place, and we look forward to once again hosting an incredible group of talent and participants in our home city of New Orleans.”

Tales of the Cocktail is a destination for cocktail enthusiasts, industry professionals, as well as fans of New Orleans culture. A statement from the Foundation notes that this year’s conference looks to be among the largest, with more than 300 unique sessions and panels planned, along with Beyond the Bar activations, Days of Service, Meet the Distillers, New Orleans cocktail tours, the annual Spirited Awards, the first-ever Catalyst Luncheon, and brand-hosted events.

The 68 educational sessions feature seminars, workshops, and exclusive tastings across three educational streams: Business, Culture and Beyond the Bar.

The 2023 Conference will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. Event organizers noted that this year’s seminar schedule will be led by more than 60% women and/or BIPOC presenters, as well as more than 40% international presenters from countries including Australia, China, India, Netherlands, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea.

Tales of the Cocktail Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to educate, advance, and support the global hospitality industry.
